The Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam for Meditators is a never-before-heard digitally remastered recording of Swami Kriyananda’s performance of the 75 stanzas of the Omar Khayyam’s beloved mystical poem, The Rubaiyat (translated by Edward FitzGerald), in their entirety, presented for the first time in an uninterrupted format suitable for listening or for immersive meditation.

With an average duration of 30 seconds, each repetition of the hauntingly beautiful melody (composed by Kriyananda, and accompanied by tanpura drone) provides a perfect backdrop for meditation. Five flute interludes complete each group of 15 stanzas, echoing the lush melody in the same cadence for a total of 85 repetitions.

This recording can be started at any point, and looped indefinitely without interruption, to support an immersive experience of any desired duration.
